Please Note

  • For the Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge portion of the tour departure time is 8:30am from 525 SW Naito Parkway, one block north from the corner of SW Natio and SW Morrison. Please arrive no later than 8:20am to exchange your voucher for a ticket at our Gray Line/Pink Trolley Sightseeing sales booth and board the coach.
  • Reservations for the Deluxe Combination Tour are required.
  • Children from 0 to 5 years of age are free.

Restrictions

This tour does not operate on June 1 and June 8 due to parades in downtown Portland. Due to downtown events the Pink Trolley Sightseeing portion of the tour has a late start or a shortened route on August 11 and September 15. A revised schedule will be available at the sales booth on those days. The Multnomah Falls portion of the tour will depart as scheduled at 8:30 am on those days.

Great value. The falls tours included seeing at least ten different falls with stops at two falls where we were able to get up close and take great pictures. We even saw bald eagles, salmon, and a black bear.

Mulnomah Falls trip was really enjoyable but we weren't as satisfied with the trolley service. Didn't know that there were only 2 trolleys and that the time in between pickups was an hour. Also the break time of half hour when we reached back to the start point was not mentioned earlier either.

Joining us on the Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge portion of the Combination Tour, you will experience the Rose City’s most renowned nature escape, the world famous Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This half day tour showcases the incredible diversity of scenery at Portland’s doorstep.

Travel along the historic Columbia River Highway with panoramic views from hundreds of feet above the river at Crown Point and the historic Vista House. Descend through the famous highway loops to pristine Latourell Falls, a beautiful photo stop. Travel past Wahkeena Falls to Oregon’s most famous natural attraction – Multnomah Falls and Lodge. See the Oneonta Gorge and Horsetail Falls enroute to the Bonneville Dam and fish ladder, a national historic site in the splendid heart of the Gorge.

      Depending on your schedule you can use your trolley passes on your return from the Falls that same day and the next day or on the two days after your Falls tour. When exchanging your voucher please advise the sales booth staff of which days you want to use your trolley pass so the correct tickets can be provided. The Trolley operates hourly from 525 SW Naito Parkway. See the schedule below.

      First Departure: 10:00am in May, June, September, October
      First Departure: 9:00am in July and August
      Last departure leaves at 4:00pm returning at 5:25pm

    • Stop 1 - Sales Booth at 525 SW Naito Parkway - Old Town and Saturday Market nearby - 0 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 2 - Caruthers Park – On SW Gaines at SW Bond - 9 minutes after each hour .
    • Stop 3 - Aerial Tram and Tilikum Crossing with Light Rail access to OMSI On SW Moody near SW Whitaker - 11 minutes after each hour .
    • Stop 4 - Riverplace - At the SW Montgomery and SW River Drive Aroundabout - 16 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 5 - City Center/Pioneer Place – In the heart of downtown - 21 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 6 - South Park - On SW Jefferson at SW Park - 26 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 7 - Washington Park/International Rose Test Garden - On SW Kingston near the Japanese Garden - 42 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 8 - Oregon Zoo/World Forestry Center - On SW Zoo Road near MAX Station - 50 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 9 - Hoyt Arboretum - On SW Fairview at the Arboretum - 55 minutes after each hour.
    • Stop 10 - NW 23rd Ave. Shopping District - On NW 23rd at NW Irving - 9 minutes after each hour
    • (first time each day 11:09/10:09 July-August).
    • Stop 11 - Pearl District/ 13th Ave NW - On NW 13th Ave at NW Irving - 15 minutes after each hour
    • (first time each day 11:15/10:15 July-August).
    • Stop 12 - Pearl District/Powell's Books - On NW Everett at NW 10th - 19 minutes after each hour
    • (first time each day 11:19/10:19 July-August).
    • Stop 13 - Chinese Garden with Light Rail access to the Oregon Convention Center - On NW Everett near NW 2nd. - 23 minutes after each hour
    • (first time each day 11:23/10:23 July-August
      In the late afternoon some of the later stops may be delayed slightly due to heavy traffic.

      A non-consecutive two day pass is available for use within a 5 day time period. When you initially redeem your voucher at our ticket booth please request a non-consecutive two day pass. We will provide you with the current day pass and request that you return to the booth for your second day pass when you want to use it.

Pickup Info

We do not pick up at the hotels for the Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley porton of the tour. Our easy to find boarding location is at the foot of downtown Portland at 525 SW Naito Parkway, adjacent to the north side for the Morrison Street Bridge. Look for the pink trolley sales booth.
The Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge portion of the tour departs at 8:30am so please arrive no later than 8:15am to exchange your voucher for your Multnomah tour ticket and your two day trolley pass ticket with current time schedule at our Gray Line/Pink Trolley Sightseeing ticket booth at 525 SW Naito Parkway.

For the Multnomah Falls & Columbia River Gorge Tour portion of the Combination Tour we do centralized hotel pickups. The first stop will be a pickup at the Marriott Waterfront on SW Clay at 8:00 am. Second will be a stop in front of the Benson Hotel (at 8:10 am) and the third, in front of the Heathman Hotel (8:20 am). Last will be the stop at our ticket booth on SW Naito for ticketing purposes (depart 8:30 am). See the stop listing to see what stop best serves which of the many hotels downtown. For the trolley portion of the Combination Tour, once ticketed or with your voucher, you can board at any of the 13 stops.

Pay parking will be available at our sales booth on weekends but space is limited on weekdays. There are five parking lots within a 2 block radius of our ticket booth and loading area
